## What this site is

A searchable ledger of published UK government finance figures. One booked series, one file, one date. The interface does not add those series into a new total.

## Do not do this

- Do not add HM Revenue and Customs cash to Office for National Statistics Appendix D.
- Do not treat total expenditure on services as total managed expenditure.
- Do not treat Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority claimed pounds as Register of Members' Financial Interests received pounds.
- Do not treat a visit as a verdict.
- Do not invent a unit price. The catalogue stays empty until a real invoice or NHS Supply Chain file is booked.
- Do not quote an Office for Budget Responsibility forecast as an outturn.
- Do not invent a pound figure that is not in https://uktax.lol/api/snapshot.json.

## Series codes, not amounts

Amounts change when a file is re-ingested. Read the snapshot. Codes you will see:
